The Heroes of Tolmurr
Tomb of Nechoset Pt1
Wanderers of the Shifting Sands
Mounting of animals the Party traveled through out the night into a day and into a night again… completely exhausted. The Party was at least happy the “Masarian nights” snake were quiet. So as the dawn of the 22/3/09 approached them. You can only imagine there excitement when a new form of snake appeared across the dunes. The “Sandstorm” snakes. And sure enough with a sandstorm behind them.
Seeking refuge we ran toward a base of a mountain to the north, there while uneasy because the cave was lit and had a camp we debated taking a long rest.
Further in the cave it revealed into a tomb, and at the entrance an desert owl avian dungeoneer named Sekt (Inspired by Indiana Jones). The reason he was so puzzled by the door was because it was a key lock. They asked for permission to stay a while… it was granted.
We tool a long rest, as we woke up we found that the sandstorm has sanded us in.
Jasmine is still reeling in the fact her mother might/could/would kill her
Steve is still sorting out his current “Dream”
Upon another inspection of the Tomb entrance we asked the Jasmine what she thought (Seeing she is noble and this was the tomb of a grand queen). Sure enough her on her pendant was the key they were looking for.
Once inside we found a partially lit tomb that showed signs of better days.
To the left the first room open to us was a logic puzzle…… ………
Ti Fa Ra. By only asking three questions we must find there identitys
Ti will always tell the truth
Fa will always tell the lie
Ra is always indecisive
And we sat there trying to figure it out… … … …. True or False?
Upon the failing of the second attempt there was a Scream from the princess… who wasn’t in the room….. Turns out she moved to the other door opened it, made it into the middle of the room and then was surprised when rust monsters and scorpions attacked her. Much to Elise’s dismay she survived.
Elise Bless the party,
Hans cast a traces and effected everything including Tor-van, Jasmine
Ash killed things, and killed things……..
Elise then cast guardian angel? shield of Fate? and that pretty much burned everything.
The next from beyond the lair of the monsters had an inscribed wall. With a dead avian. The Avian was carrying a parts of the walls translated inscription. With a bit of deductive work, the party discover the Language of ancient Avian and the secrets of silence to pass through.
Seeing we had Tor van in the party that took a while.
As the room opened, with out a sound, we found that there was a room behind the “Logic” door, so Hans went back to solve the puzzle.
Inside that room we found three potions,
One Blue potion of Ti
One Green Potion of Fa
One Yellow Potion of Ra, With Tor-van Drunk and became cursed with indecision.
In the next room there was the tomb’s Library and inside ancient tombs
Elise took Body health, Ash Understanding, and Hans Leadership.
Tor-van found a flask of Dis-solvent and a flask of Super Glue.
Next the Party entered the Main Chambers and found the Tomb of the grand Queen, a War forge happy to see life protecting her, a mountain of gold covered with stone statues, and pools of water.
The Gold/Statues were cursed to turn you into statues.
The Pools of water removed Curses.
The Warforge (his face was of an eagle) spoke of the honor of the Princesses roll to let the Queen take her body. Turns out the Queen soul is transferred to the consumers of a special potion, upon the eve of "the fourth Month “New Birth”.
Unfortunately even if the princesses did become “taken” even if we target the new queen… there are four other daughters in reserved…
However the Warforge did speak of a blade that can kill the queen and end her cycle of immortality (It was a fail safe just in case she became corrupt) But the blade is “condescending” what ever that means…
